Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
To keep only the Microsoft 365 Personal subscription and request cancellation/refunds for the others, follow these steps:
- Go to the Services & subscriptions page
- Visit https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the same Microsoft account used to buy Microsoft 365 Personal and the extra storage.
- Cancel the extra Microsoft storage subscription (£1.99/month)
- On the Services page, find the subscription that corresponds to the extra OneDrive/Microsoft storage (separate from Microsoft 365 Personal).
- Select Manage.
- On the next page, select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel, then choose Cancel).
- Follow the on‑screen instructions to complete cancellation.
- After cancellation, storage will eventually revert to the free allowance (5 GB cloud storage and 15 GB Outlook.com storage). If storage in use is above the free limit, new files cannot be uploaded/synced and email sending/receiving may be blocked until usage is reduced.
- Check refund eligibility for the extra storage
- Not all cancellations result in a refund. Refund eligibility depends on region and subscription details.
- In some countries (for example Canada, Israel, Korea, Turkey, and certain longer-term renewed subscriptions in Denmark, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal), prorated refunds may apply. See Countries with prorated refunds for Microsoft subscriptions in the article referenced below.
- Keep Microsoft 365 Personal
- Do not cancel Microsoft 365 Personal if that is the only subscription that should remain active.
- About NeatYearIAP2
- NeatYearIAP2 appears to be a separate in‑app purchase or third‑party subscription, not a core Microsoft 365 subscription.
- If it was purchased through a third‑party store (for example Google Play or Apple App Store), cancellation and refund must be requested directly from that store’s support:
- For Google Play purchases, see Learn about Google Play refund policies.
- For Apple App Store purchases, request a refund from Apple support.
- If cancellation or refund options do not appear
- If the Services page shows Turn on recurring billing instead of Manage, the subscription is already set to expire on the date shown and will not renew; in that case, no further action is needed for that item.
- For additional help with Microsoft subscriptions (including billing and refunds), go to Contact Microsoft Support from the article below, describe the billing/refund issue, and choose the support option provided.
This will leave only the Microsoft 365 Personal subscription active while cancelling the extra storage and handling NeatYearIAP2 via the appropriate store or support channel.
