Microsoft Authenticator app unauthorized sign-in request

I received a sign-in request on my MS Authenticator app for an account I have set up but was not trying to log into. I am given a code, but did not request the login. There is no option to Deny the request. How do you Deny the unrequested log-in?

I would like to log into the account and change my password, however if I attempt that it will ask for a code from MS Authenticator - how can I tell that it is the code for my log in or the hacking attempt?
