delete personal plans within Planner app

Based on the information you shared that you would like to delete several personal plans in your Planner app that are not associated with a specific Team or Channel. If I have misunderstood your issue in any way, please do not hesitate to correct me and I will be more than happy to assist you further accordingly. 

In Microsoft Planner, even personal plans are still managed within the Microsoft 365 framework, and deletion is controlled by ownership permissions. As a result, only the plan owner can delete a plan, and in some cases the delete option is only available through the Planner web experience or under specific plan settings.  

To help address this, please follow the steps below carefully and in order: 

1/ Delete the Plan via the Planner Web Application 

• First, open Planner using the browser by going to https://tasks.office.com and sign in.  
• Then, navigate to My Plans to view all your personal and shared plans in one place.  
• Next, select the plan you want to remove.  
• After that, click the dropdown or three dots next to the plan name, and select Delete this plan

Please note that this action is permanent and will remove all tasks and related data, so kindly ensure this is the intended action before proceeding.  

2/ Contact your IT's administrator  

Should neither of the steps above apply to your situation, particularly if your account is managed under an organizational subscription, I strongly recommend reaching out to your Microsoft 365 Administrator. They will be able to access the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, identify the associated group tied to the plan, and permanently remove it on your behalf.

Within the plan itself, you should see the ellipse ... on the top navigation, click it. Then, head to Plan details at the bottom, then a popup window should show on the right side of your screen. Under 'General' tab, at the bottom you will see a trash can icon, 'Delete this plan' button.
