Not solicited Sign-in request

Select Deny on any sign-in request that was not initiated.

Unrequested prompts can occur because:

1. Someone is trying to access the account.
2. Someone accidentally entered the phone number or email when trying to sign in.
3. Delivery of a prompt that was requested earlier is delayed.

If the request was not initiated, denying it keeps the account safe because approval is required to complete sign-in.

For additional protection, consider using passwordless methods such as Microsoft Authenticator, Windows Hello, SMS/Email codes, or security keys as described in the references.
