Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Subscription status cannot be checked directly here. To see whether the Microsoft 365 free trial or any other subscription is active and to resume using it, follow these steps:
- Go to the Microsoft account Services & subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services
- Sign in with the same Microsoft account that was used when starting the trial and verifying payment.
- Under Services & subscriptions, locate the Microsoft 365 or Office entry and check its status:
- If it shows Has recurring billing or an active end date in the future, the subscription is active.
- If it shows Expires on [date] in the past or Canceled, the subscription is not active and a new subscription or trial must be started (if eligible).
If the subscription is active but Office apps still show subscription or activation warnings, make sure the same account is signed in inside the Office apps (File > Account) and update or refresh the license as needed.
If there are problems with renewal, installation, or if the Install button is not working after confirming the subscription is active, contact Microsoft Support using the guidance in the references.
