I have an existing 365 account that i pay for, but established an outlook email with another 365 that does NOT have a subscription. How can i migrate that outlook email into the paid subscription?

Outlook email addresses and Microsoft accounts cannot be merged or moved between subscriptions. Each Outlook.com address is permanently tied to its own Microsoft account, and Microsoft does not support combining those accounts or reassigning an existing Outlook.com address to a different Microsoft 365 subscription.

    In practice this means:

    1. The Outlook email that was created under the non‑subscribed Microsoft 365 account must remain on that account.
    2. The paid Microsoft 365 subscription stays associated with the Microsoft account it was originally purchased on.
    3. The Outlook.com address from the non‑subscribed account cannot be made the primary alias or sign‑in email of the paid subscription account, and it cannot be “migrated” across.

To consolidate usage, the only supported options are:

    • Keep using both accounts, with the subscription benefits only on the paid account; or
    • Manually move data (mail via export/import, files via download/upload) from the non‑subscribed account to the subscribed account, while keeping the original Outlook.com address active only as a sign‑in and mail address on its own account.

There is no supported way to transfer the Outlook.com address itself into the paid subscription account.
