Can my old MCP id merge with latest profile i created?

Old MCP IDs and Certification Profiles have been retired and migrated into Microsoft Learn profiles. The unique identifier MCID is no longer used; the Learn Username is now the unique identifier for the profile.

Existing certification data associated with an old Certification/MCP profile can only be accessed through the Learn profile that was created or mapped from that same account. Data cannot be transferred from one Learn profile to another, but multiple Learn profiles can be merged if they meet the merge requirements:

• Only one of the profiles can contain a personal Microsoft login account (MSA).
• Merging combines all learning progress and certification data into a single Learn profile and cannot be undone.

To consolidate profiles and their certification data:

1. Sign in to one of the Learn profiles.
2. Go to profile Settings → Account Management → Add login account.
3. Add the other login account that is associated with the second Learn/Certification profile.
4. If that login is tied to another Learn profile, this will trigger a profile merge and bring certifications and learning progress together.

If the old MCP/Certification profile is not accessible or cannot be matched to a current Learn profile, or if assistance is needed to locate or verify old certification data, contact Certification Support and provide the Learn Username and any known historical details (such as the old MCP ID) so support can investigate.
