Duplicate payment and 365 Personal Accounts

To cancel one of the Microsoft 365 Personal subscriptions and check if a refund is possible, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Microsoft Services page for Microsoft 365 subscriptions: https://account.microsoft.com/services/microsoft365 and sign in with the same Microsoft account used to purchase the subscriptions.
2. Make sure the correct account is used (the one that was charged in March/April).
3. Locate the Microsoft 365 subscription entries and select Manage on the one that should be cancelled.
   • If Turn on recurring billing is shown instead of Manage, that subscription is already set to expire and will not be charged again.
4. On the Manage page, select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel, depending on what is shown).
5. Scroll through and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the cancellation.
6. During the cancellation flow, refund eligibility will be shown. Not all cancellations result in a refund.

Additional notes:

• If the subscription was purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store, cancellation and refund must be requested through their support instead.
• In some countries (for example Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Israel, Korea, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Turkey), cancelling may entitle to a prorated refund depending on subscription length.
• If help is needed beyond the self-service flow, use Contact Microsoft Support and choose a billing issue to reach a support agent.
