Credit card charge

The charge on March 12, 2026 most likely occurred for one of these reasons:

1. Cancellation was too close to the billing date.
   • Cancellations must be made more than 2 days before the billing date. If the subscription was set to renew on March 12 and cancellation took effect March 11, the renewal charge could still be processed.
   • Check the subscription end date by signing in to Subscriptions.
2. The charge is tied to a different Microsoft account.
   • If there are multiple Microsoft accounts, the subscription that renewed on March 12 might be associated with another account.
   • If the charge is not recognized, investigate it from the Manage your payments page of the Microsoft account dashboard and use the “Investigate” option.

If the charge is not recognized or was taken after a valid cancellation, check eligibility for a refund after cancellation using the refund guidance in the references below.
