How do you add a product or service to existing lead record

Dynamics 365 does not support adding products or services directly to a lead record. Products and services are associated with opportunities, quotes, orders, invoices, work orders, and campaigns—not with leads.

Typical process:

1. Qualify the lead to create an opportunity (and related account/contact).
2. Open the opportunity and add products or services there using the Products grid or the enhanced “Add products” experience.
3. From the opportunity, proceed to quotes, orders, or invoices as needed, where products and services continue to be managed.

For field service scenarios, products and services are added to work orders, not leads.
