Asks for log in with wrong email

The repeated prompts to sign in with other email addresses usually mean there are multiple Microsoft accounts or organizations associated with those addresses.

To stop being asked for the other accounts and use only the Gmail-based Microsoft 365 account:

1. If the prompt is the "Which account do you want to use?" dialog (Work or school vs Personal) for the same email address, remove that duplication by renaming the personal Microsoft account:
   • Go to the Manage how you sign in section of the personal Microsoft account that has the Microsoft 365 subscription.
   • Add a new alias (email address) or choose an existing alias.
   • Select Make primary for the alias that should be used going forward.
   • After that, sign in with this primary alias so that Microsoft 365 stops asking to choose between accounts.
2. If one of the other addresses (for example, *@gormicans.com or *@eyegenex.com) is associated with a different organization’s Microsoft 365 tenant and is appearing as a “Work or school account,” contact the admin/owner of that organization and ask them to remove that email address from their organization. This prevents Microsoft sign-in from offering that work/school account when signing in.
3. If one of those non-Gmail addresses was invited into a Microsoft 365 business subscription and is causing prompts, leave that business organization:
   • Go to https://myapps.microsoft.com/ and sign in.
   • Select profile initials > View account > Manage organizations > Leave organization.
   • Select Leave > OK.

After these steps, sign out of all Microsoft sites and apps, close the browser, then sign back in only with the Gmail-based Microsoft account (or its new primary alias). The prompts to use the other accounts should stop.
