To speak with a live Microsoft Support agent about Microsoft 365/Office, use one of these supported methods:
- Use the Get Help app (Windows)
- Open the Get Help app (type "Get Help" in the Windows search box and open it).
- Type a brief description of the issue (for example, “Chat with an agent”) and press Enter.
- When suggested solutions appear, select Contact support at the bottom.
- Choose the relevant Product or service (for example, Microsoft 365 or Office) and follow the prompts.
- When asked how to be contacted, choose either:
- Chat with a support agent in your web browser, or
- Provide your phone number, and a support agent will call you.
- From Microsoft 365 for home (web)
- Go to the Microsoft support site and use the Get Help experience for home users.
- Describe the problem; if self-help does not resolve it, choose an option to chat or request a call when offered.
- From Microsoft 365 for business (admins)
- Sign in to Microsoft 365 admin center with an admin account.
- Select Support > Help and support.
- Enter the question, then select Contact support.
- Follow the prompts and choose a live contact option (chat or phone) when available.
- Using customer service phone numbers
- Open the Microsoft Customer service phone numbers page.
- For Home Users, select Get Help and follow the flow; where available, options include chat or request a call.
- For Business Users, use the guidance on that page (for example, admin center Help & support, Services Hub, or regional phone numbers) to reach support.
Availability of chat and call-back options depends on region, product, subscription, and support hours.
