OneNote App on iPadOS is Glitching

Hi, I noticed the OneNote app on iPadOS is glitching for the past few days.

When I leave the app, to switch to another app, if I were to come back to OneNote again, it will show a black screen. And I have to kill the app to use OneNote again.

If I use the app and locks the screen, the app becomes a black screen when I unlock the screen. Same I have to kill the app to use OneNote again.

Yes, I am on the latest update of the OneNote app, and yes, I have tried to reboot my iPad, but the problem persists.

Can someone please help? There is no way to report this problem in Apple AppStore.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

This is actually a known issue that has been reported by several other users.

It appears to affect users running OneNote on iPadOS 26.4.1 (23E254) with OneNote version 16.108 (the latest). Please note that this issue is specific to iPad and has not been observed on iPhone, Windows, or macOS.

So, I'd recommend submitting feedback directly to the Microsoft development team so they're aware of the impact. To do that, open the OneNote app,> Go to Settings, and then > Tap Send Feedback.
