In Sales Accelerator, the work list does not show all records that simply “have a sequence step/activity and are assigned to you.” It shows a specific subset of records based on these criteria:
- Assignment and ownership
- The work list displays records that are assigned to the seller or to the seller’s security role.
- Records are surfaced according to work assignment configuration (segments, sequences, and assignment rules). If a record is not in a segment or not picked up by an assignment rule, it will not appear, even if it has activities.
- Activity due window
- The work list is designed to help manage activities that are due in the last 30 days.
- It shows records that include activities due today or pending from previous dates within that 30‑day window. Once activities are completed and no further steps are currently due, the record is removed from the list until a new step becomes due.
- Record state and type
- Only active records can be connected to segments and sequences. For example, a qualified lead (read‑only) cannot be assigned to a segment and therefore will not appear in the work list.
- The record type must be one of the types selected in Sales accelerator configuration and/or Work assignment (for example, leads and opportunities by default, plus any additional record types configured).
- Sequencing and prioritization
- A sales manager configures which entities appear and how they are sequenced.
- The work list is ordered so that the “next‑best” customer with the highest prediction score appears at the top.
- If a record meets multiple segment conditions, the segment priority determines which sequence and assignment apply; only records correctly matched and assigned through this logic will appear.
If records that appear to meet the criteria are missing from the work list, typical causes include:
- The record is not active (for example, a qualified lead).
- The record’s type is not enabled in Sales accelerator configuration.
- The record does not belong to any active segment or is not matched by an active assignment rule.
- The record has no activity due within the last 30 days (no step currently due).
- Segment priority or conditions route the record differently than expected.
Verifying the following usually explains gaps:
- In Sales Insights settings → Sales accelerator → Work assignment, confirm the record type is enabled and check which segments and assignment rules apply.
- For a specific record, confirm it is active, belongs to a segment (based on its attributes), and has a sequence step due within the last 30 days.
