I lost access to a lot if my accounts

I recently got a new phone and i transferred my authenticator to it but when i needed to use it my accounts werent there so i couldnt get the verification codes so now i am logged out of a lot of them, i cant log back in because i need the verification codes

In the past I dug up deleting your authenticator app in order to reinstall it and start out using the "start backup" button. It won't let you do it any time afterward. Side note that I'm in the similar position, but with having started the backup immediately and am still being told I don't have any accounts saved under this Microsoft account.

Hi there.

If you have the old phone with you, consider reinstalling the app and export your accounts to the new device. If you don't have the old phone with you, consider using the Microsoft account recovery form. Provide as much detail as possible: old passwords, recovery email, subject lines of past emails. If you had backup codes saved, those can bypass the authenticator requirement.
