Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
Pearson VUE has blocked the account from making new Microsoft exam registrations. This is managed entirely by Pearson VUE, not by Microsoft, so the reason for the block and any removal of it must be handled directly with Pearson VUE support.
Next steps:
- Contact Pearson VUE using the Microsoft-specific support channel
- Use the Pearson VUE contact options listed on the Microsoft Certification pages, for example via the links under Microsoft’s certification support: contacting Pearson VUE support and the general certification support entry point: Certification support.
- Clearly state that the Pearson VUE system shows: “Microsoft registrations are currently not permitted…” and that support has informed that the account is blocked from registrations.
- Ask explicitly for:
- The reason for the registration block on the Pearson VUE profile.
- A review of the prior online-proctored exam session and any associated incident report.
- Removal of the block so that Microsoft exam registrations can resume, if permitted by their policies.
- If Pearson VUE confirms everything is correct on their side but the block persists or there is disagreement about the incident:
- Open a case with Microsoft Credentials support and provide all details (name as on the exam profile, MCP/Certification ID if available, exam ID, date, and any Pearson VUE case numbers): Microsoft Credentials support.
- Use that channel to request investigation of the exam incident and the registration restriction.
- Do not create Outlook or other product support tickets for this issue
- This is not an Outlook or Microsoft 365 app issue; it must be handled through Pearson VUE and Microsoft Certification/Credentials support.
Only Pearson VUE and Microsoft Certification support can see the incident details and determine why the account was blocked and whether it can be reinstated.
