Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
To reach a live Microsoft support agent, use one of these supported paths:
- Go through the main Microsoft Support entry point:
- Open the Contact support page: use Contact us from this page: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?linkid=2135360 (linked as “Contact us” / “Contact a Microsoft support agent” in the references below).
- Sign in with the Microsoft account used for the product.
- Select the relevant product and category.
- Confirm, then choose a support option such as chat or phone (call-back) to speak with a person.
- Use the Virtual Agent and escalate to a person (where available):
- Start from the same Contact us / Contact a Microsoft support agent entry.
- When the Virtual Agent opens, describe the issue.
- Then type something like “Talk to a person” or “Agent” and choose Chat or Call back if those options are offered in the region.
If using Outlook.com or Outlook clients and in-product help is available, another path is:
- In Outlook on the web: select ? → Feedback → Give Feedback, describe the problem, then Next → Skip and send message so an engineer can follow up.
- In Outlook for Mac: go to Help → Contact Support, allow log collection, enter name, email, and issue, then select Start Conversation to chat with support.
For business/IT scenarios, additional options include:
- IT Pros and admins: use the Microsoft 365 admin center support options.
- Support for business: use the business support portal to open a support request.
If the automated phone system (IVR) is used instead of web chat, clearly state the need to create a service request and to be transferred to an agent for the specific product.
