Email signature incorrectly placed below attribution

Hi, just this week when I reply to a message in outlook for mac, it places my signature below the attribution of the message I'm replying to. It never did this before. I am using Outlook and have our work gmail set up on it. I have deleted the account and reinstalled it, redone the signature, and cleared the cache. Nothing seems to be realigning it correctly. Signatures on replies are at the very bottom of the chain

Known bug. No fix yet. One possible workaround.

In recent updates, Outlook may insert the signature below the quoted message attribution, rather than directly under your reply text. This is not caused by corrupted profiles or cache and is not resolved by recreating the account or signature.

You can try the following workarounds:

In Outlook, go to Outlook > Settings > Signatures.
Under Choose default signature, make sure your Gmail account has a signature explicitly set for both New messages and Replies/forwards.
If the issue persists, go to Settings > Email > Composing and enable “When replying or forwarding, use the format of the original message".

If the issue persists, please note that this workaround may not be a permanent fix in the New Outlook for Mac.

Thanks, I have tried all those suggestions with no luck. I have had to resort to 'None' for attributions for the moment, but the sis really not ideal long term. This is an error in my opinion by Microsoft and something they should have been aware of prior to the updates being released or be able to fix quickly. It was working fine before. I hope they issue an update to resolve this quickly as it makes using outlook and tracking conversations much more difficult.

Outlook for Mac controls where the signature is inserted based on the signature settings for each account. To correct the placement, reset the default signature configuration for the Gmail account in Outlook for Mac and ensure the reply/forward signature is applied normally.

Try the following steps in Outlook for Mac (New Outlook):

On the Outlook menu, select Settings.
Under Email, select Signatures.
Under Choose default signature, select the Gmail account that shows the incorrect placement.
For that account:
- Set a signature for New messages.
- Set the same (or desired) signature for Replies/forwards.
Close the Signatures window.

If the behavior persists, edit the existing signature instead of recreating it:

Go back to Outlook > Settings > Signatures.
Under Signature name, select the problematic signature and choose Edit.
Make a small change (for example, retype the last line), then select Save.
Test again by replying to a message.

These steps reset how Outlook for Mac automatically appends the signature to replies and forwards, which should restore the expected placement directly under the reply text instead of below the previous message attribution.
