no microsoft authenticator app for ios/pc to download

Microsoft Authenticator can only be installed on mobile devices (iOS and Android). It is not available for PC or Mac.

To install on iOS (iPhone/iPad):

1. Open the Apple App Store on the iOS device.
2. Search for "Microsoft Authenticator".
3. Select Microsoft Authenticator published by Microsoft and install it.
   • Or use the direct App Store link: Get the app.

To install on Android:

1. Open the Google Play Store on the Android device.
2. Search for "Microsoft Authenticator".
3. Select Microsoft Authenticator published by Microsoft and install it.
   • Or use the direct Play Store link: Get the app.

Microsoft Authenticator is not available for PC or Mac. Authenticator apps are designed for smartphones for security and availability reasons: keeping the second factor on a separate, always-with-you device makes accounts more secure and usable.

After installation, accounts can be added in the app (for example, by scanning a QR code from the account’s security setup page).
