I'm currently trying to cancel my realms subscription, but when i follow the cancel button in Minecraft, Microsoft shows me that I don't have any subscriptions, I'm using the same account. The only thing that i can think of that might be interfering is that I use Venmo as a payment. Any input is greatly appreciated!

The Realms subscription is tied to the Microsoft account and the store where it was purchased. If it does not appear on the Microsoft subscriptions page, use these checks and paths to cancel it:

    1. Confirm the correct Microsoft account
      • Go to the Subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services.
      • Sign out, then sign back in with every Microsoft account that might be linked to Minecraft (for example, any @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, or other Microsoft accounts used in the past).
      • If the Realms subscription was bought under a different Microsoft account, it will only show under that account.
    2. Check if it was purchased through a third party
      • If Realms was purchased via a mobile store (Google Play or Apple App Store) or a console store, it will not show on the Microsoft subscriptions page.
      • In that case, cancel it where it was purchased:
        • Google Play: follow the steps under “Learn about Google Play refund policies” on the Google Play support page.
        • Apple App Store: request cancellation/refund via Apple support.
      • The same principle applies if Realms was purchased through another retailer; manage or cancel the subscription through that retailer.
    3. Verify that there is no overdue balance
      • On https://account.microsoft.com/services, check if any Microsoft subscription shows an overdue amount.
      • If a payment method has expired or there is money owing, cancellation may be blocked until the balance is paid.
    4. Check the billing status wording
      • On the Services & subscriptions page, if the entry for a subscription shows “Turn on recurring billing” instead of a Manage/Cancel link, that subscription is already set to expire on the date shown and will not renew.
    5. If the subscription still does not appear
      • Confirm again that the same Microsoft personal account used in Minecraft is being used on the Subscriptions page.
      • If Realms was purchased in a specific country with special handling (for example, Germany), use the country-specific cancellation flow if applicable.
      • If none of the above applies and the subscription still does not show, use Microsoft’s guided support from the “Unable to cancel your Microsoft subscription” article to have support look up the subscription and cancel it.

Venmo as a payment method does not by itself control where the subscription is managed; the key is which store and which account were used for the original purchase.
