I have an Apple iPhone and use the Microsoft Authenticator. I need to remove unused sign ins

On iPhone, unused sign-ins in Microsoft Authenticator are removed by deleting the corresponding accounts from the app.

To remove a single old sign-in/account:

1. Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on the iPhone.
2. Tap the account (sign-in entry) that is no longer used.
3. Tap the Settings gear for that account.
4. Tap Remove account and confirm.
   • After removal, that device can no longer be used to verify sign-in for that account.

To remove all accounts/sign-ins from Authenticator on iPhone:

1. Open the iPhone Settings app.
2. Go to General > Storage.
3. Find and select Authenticator in the app list.
4. Tap Offload App.
   • This clears all Authenticator data on the device. There is no undo, and all accounts will be removed.

If any of these accounts are still listed as verification methods on the Microsoft account itself, they can also be removed from the account’s security info on the Advanced security options page by expanding the verification method and selecting Remove.
