For Microsoft 365 subscriptions, tax IDs such as GSTIN/RFC/Codice Fiscale must be added before the purchase is confirmed. After an invoice is generated, it isn’t possible to modify that invoice to add or change the tax ID for that specific charge.

For future invoices of the same subscription, update the tax information now so it appears on the next billing cycle:

    1. Go to your Microsoft account dashboard: https://account.microsoft.com and sign in with the account used for Microsoft 365 Family.
    2. On the top navigation, select Payment and Billing > Address Book.
    3. Use Manage tax information to add or edit the tax ID (for example, GSTIN/RFC equivalent for your region).
    4. The updated tax information will be reflected on the invoice the next time the subscription is charged.

If a compliant invoice with GSTIN is mandatory for the purchase already made, contact Microsoft Support or Billing directly to review options, as the self-service portals do not support editing an already issued invoice.
