Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Account access is not available, so the subscription itself cannot be checked or restored.
For promotional or bundled LinkedIn Premium offers (such as those tied to Microsoft 365 student benefits), resolution requires direct support from Microsoft/LinkedIn. Use these steps:
- Confirm the Microsoft 365 subscription status
- Go to the Services & subscriptions page.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account used to activate the Microsoft 365 student promotion.
- Verify that the Microsoft 365 subscription associated with the promotion is still active and not expired or canceled.
- Check for multiple or canceled subscriptions
- On the same page, review all Microsoft 365 subscriptions to ensure none were canceled or changed (for example, switching plans or canceling a paid subscription) around the time LinkedIn Premium stopped. Changes to billing or subscription type can affect attached benefits.
- Contact Microsoft 365/Account support
- If the Microsoft 365 subscription is active but the LinkedIn Premium benefit ended early, contact support so they can review eligibility and the promotion on the account:
- Use Contact Microsoft 365 Support or the options listed under Microsoft 365 customer service and support.
- Provide:
- The Microsoft account used for the student promotion.
- The date the Microsoft 365 promotion was activated.
- The date LinkedIn Premium started and the date it was canceled.
- If the Microsoft 365 subscription is active but the LinkedIn Premium benefit ended early, contact support so they can review eligibility and the promotion on the account:
- Check LinkedIn account and email
- Sign in to LinkedIn with the account where Premium was activated and review the subscription area for any notices about trial end, billing issues, or promotion changes.
- Check all email folders (including junk/spam) for LinkedIn or Microsoft messages about the promotion or cancellation, similar to how missed promotional emails have been found in other cases.
If the promotion is confirmed valid and active but the benefit was removed incorrectly, only Microsoft/LinkedIn support can reinstate or reissue the LinkedIn Premium benefit.
