Something happened and your PIN isn't available error logging on to PC. NO Alternate ways of logging in are showing and it refuses to send codes to email or phone

How do I force the Windows 11 PC to let me log in with my Microsoft Username and password. Apparently, the PIN got corrupted

Use a different sign-in method first, then repair or reset Windows Hello/PIN. Since no alternate sign-in options appear and verification codes are not working, the practical options are to:

    1. Try Safe Mode sign-in with password
      1. On the sign-in screen, select the Power icon.
      2. Hold Shift and select Restart.
      3. When Choose an option appears, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
      4. After restart, press F5 (or 5) for Safe Mode with Networking.
      5. On the Safe Mode sign-in screen, sign in using the account password (PIN and biometrics are not available in Safe Mode).
      6. Once signed in, go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options and remove the existing PIN (and any Windows Hello options), then set up a new PIN.
    2. If Safe Mode still does not allow sign-in Use the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) to get an admin session and then fix the PIN or create another admin account:
      1. From the sign-in screen, hold Shift and select Restart to enter Troubleshoot.
      2. Go to Advanced options > Command Prompt.
      3. From there, follow an approach similar to the moderator guidance in the referenced Q&A: enable the built-in Administrator account or create a new local admin account, then restart and sign in with that account.
      4. Once signed in as an administrator, remove the corrupted PIN for the main account (delete the NGC folder or remove the PIN in Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options) and then set up a new PIN.
    3. If none of the above works As shown in a similar case, if password, PIN, Safe Mode, and recovery options all fail and codes cannot be received, the remaining option may be to back up data (if possible) and perform a reset/clean install of Windows 11 to regain access.
