Below are steps to clear cache, cookies, and browsing data in Microsoft Edge, since that is the default browser on current Windows versions. If using a different browser, similar options exist under its Settings → Privacy/History section.
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Select Settings and more (three dots in the upper-right corner).
- Select Settings.
- Go to Privacy, search, and services.
- Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear next to Clear browsing data now.
- Under Time range, choose All time (or another range if preferred).
- Check at least:
- Cookies and other site data
- Cached images and files
- Select Clear now.
- Close Edge completely, reopen it, and try the site again.
If only cookies need to be cleared, the same dialog can be used, or cookies for a specific site can be removed:
- In Edge, select Settings and more > Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
- Select Cookies, then See all cookies and site data.
- Search for the site name.
- Expand the site entry and select Delete.
This removes cached data and cookies that might be causing the site to be blocked or behave incorrectly.
