Hello Microsoft Support Team,

I hope you are well.

I am writing to follow up on my existing support request Case ID: 2603030030007668 regarding a tenant administrator MFA lockout affecting our Microsoft 365 tenant.

I am the only Global Administrator for the tenant SBIPHA (sbipha.com) and I am currently completely locked out of my account:

Account: ******@sbipha.com

Domain: sbipha.com Issue Details:

• My account requires Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) approval to sign in.

• The Microsoft Authenticator app is unavailable/inaccessible, so I cannot approve the sign-in request.

• The phone number registered on the account is not receiving SMS or call verification codes, which prevents me from completing authentication.

• As I am the only administrator on this tenant, there is no other admin available to reset my MFA registration.

This has resulted in a tenant-level admin lockout, preventing access to both the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and my work email.

Request:

I kindly request assistance with:

  1. Resetting the MFA registration for the Global Admin account ******@sbipha.com.
  2. Investigating why the registered phone number is not receiving authentication calls or SMS codes.
  3. Routing this case to the Data Protection / Tenant Recovery Team, as this situation requires tenant-level administrator recovery.

As the only Global Administrator, resolving this issue is critical for restoring access to the tenant and managing our organization’s services.

Please let me know if you require tenant verification, domain verification, or additional documentation to proceed.

Thank you for your urgent assistance.

Kind regards,

Clare Brenda Kawira Mugambi
