HOW CAN I LOG INTO MY ACCOUNT WHEN AUTHENTICATOR IS NOT WORKING??!!

I have tried everything. And I cannot get help because I CANNOT LOG IN to my account to get a human!! It is asking for a code from the Authenticator which is not populating, I have uninstalled, and reinstalled it umpteen times. This account I am using to write this is an old account that I was able to get into, the account I've been using has been fine for months, then Sunday I wanted to get my emails to my phone, so added the account; it kept asking for the code from my authenticator app. However it is not generating any code at all and when I reinstall the authenticator app it asks for a code before it's even open/isntalled. This is ridiculous. I can't uninstall the app anymore because I use it for a company I work for and there is no way to delete the account from my authenticator. I reached out to the guy that set my email account for me, and it is too much for him to get into also. He is sending me to an IT company. Why should I pay someone to get into my own damn email as I'm already paying for said account/email!!?? This is so not cool!! Microsoft do your job and get me a human to fix my problem!!
