I was originally paying $6.00/month then later it was rasied to $6.30/month. I want to change the Credit Card on file but I can't find the charges or the program that I'm paying for. I tried to call but there's no one available to speak to live. Please advise. Thank You.

The most likely cause is a recurring Microsoft subscription or other Microsoft service that has recurring billing enabled, but is associated with a different Microsoft account or payment profile than the one being checked.

To track down what the $6.30/month charge is for and then change the credit card, follow these steps:

    1. Investigate the charge in the Microsoft billing tools
      1. Go to the Manage your payments page of the Microsoft account dashboard: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2246882
      2. Find the payment method that is being charged and select Investigate next to the unrecognized charge.
      3. Follow the prompts to see whether the charge is tied to:
        • A Microsoft 365 subscription with recurring billing enabled.
        • Another Microsoft subscription (Xbox, Skype, etc.).
        • An in-app or store purchase.
      4. If the charge is not visible under the Microsoft account being used, sign out and try any other Microsoft accounts that may have been used in the past (different email addresses).
    2. Check for subscriptions that are still active
      1. Go to Services & subscriptions: https://account.microsoft.com/services
      2. Review all active subscriptions and note any with a monthly price close to $6.30.
      3. If a subscription is found and the card needs to be changed, follow the link to change the payment method for that subscription (see next step).
    3. Change the credit card on file for the subscription
      1. On the Services & subscriptions page, select the subscription that matches the charge.
      2. Use the Change payment method or similar option to update the card, following the guidance in How to change your Microsoft subscription payment method and options (linked from the payment troubleshooting article).
    4. If the charge still cannot be identified
      1. Use the billing troubleshooter described in How to investigate a billing charge from Microsoft to walk through possible causes: recurring subscription, family member purchase, retried/previously declined charge, or in-app purchase.
      2. If the charge appears to be fraudulent or cannot be matched to any subscription or purchase, contact the bank or card issuer to dispute the charge and consider requesting a new card.
    5. Contact Microsoft Support for live assistance
      • If self-service steps do not reveal the source of the charge or do not allow changing the card, contact Microsoft Support directly using the Contact Microsoft Support or Get Help options described in the referenced articles. Choose a billing-related category (for example, “Billing Issue” or “Manage my subscription”) and then select chat or callback when available.

If the charge turns out to be for a Microsoft subscription that is no longer needed, review the refund eligibility and cancellation options in the refund article referenced below.
