Admin failed to restore multifactor authentication on all remembered devices.

User cannot login on app mobile, no problems on computer.

The user has:

I have cleared cache and data

Restarted the phone

Removed overlapping login accounts in the settings

Tried manual account setup (not Outlook’s) via settings

Reset MFA

Logged in via browser on the phone

Restarted after everything

Tried on another phone

The user gets the error: 5objp

In Entra ID Full Admin have done the following:
Manually deleted all MFA methods.
Required reregistration of multifactor authentication
Reset password
Revoked all sessions

HOWEVER. Admin cannot "Revoke multifaktor sessions."

In audit log Admin get the error: Admin failed to restore multifactor authentication on all remembered devices.

User has also tried:
Uninstall Outlook (and Teams if it is also causing issues).

Android Settings → Passwords and accounts / Accounts

Delete EVERYTHING that looks like:

“Work account”

Exchange/Outlook account

Duplicate entries of the same email

Remove the account in Microsoft Authenticator (if it is there) and temporarily uninstall Authenticator.

Restart the phone.

Install Microsoft Authenticator first and add the work account.

Install Outlook and sign in.
