My account was blocked. I tried the recovery but apparently failed to prove I was not a robot. Recovery is in a loop and the guidance also seems to take me round in circles.

I cannot ask for a password reset. I need to speak to a human please? I reported this last week and heard nothing back. Urgently need to access my insurance documents.

If your account is blocked and you are stuck in a recovery loop, it can be frustrating. Here are some steps you can take:

    1. Wait for Lockout Period: If you've attempted recovery too many times, your account may be temporarily locked. This lockout usually lasts about 24 hours. Avoid further attempts during this time, as they can restart the cooldown.
    2. Use the Account Recovery Form: When you retry, use the Account Recovery Form from a familiar device and location, providing as much accurate information as possible to verify your identity.
    3. Contact Microsoft Support: Since you need urgent assistance, you can contact Microsoft Support directly. Go to the support page, type "recover account", and follow the prompts to chat with a support agent. This can help you get in touch with a human representative who can assist you further.
    4. Check for Alternative Sign-in Options: Sometimes, there may be alternative methods to sign in on the password page. If available, try those options.
    5. Monitor for Further Issues: If you regain access, check your account for any unauthorized changes or settings.

If you continue to face issues, persistence in reaching out to support is key, as they may have additional tools to assist you in recovering your account.
