How do I change the notification email for my OneDrive Account?

I have updated my login information by creating an alias, making that alias primary, then deleted the original login. So far the new login is or seems to be working fine but when OneDrive sends me information such as "on this day", they still come in on the original email which I had deleted. I do not see anywhere to address this issue. Everything in OD seems to indicate the new Alias is the one active.

To change the notification email for your OneDrive account, you need to ensure that your new alias is set as the primary email for notifications. Since you mentioned that you have already made the new alias primary, it may take some time for the changes to propagate across all services. Here are some steps you can follow:

    1. Wait for Propagation: Sometimes, changes to email addresses can take up to 24 hours to fully propagate across all Microsoft services, including OneDrive.
    2. Check Notification Settings: Ensure that your notification settings in OneDrive are configured to use the new alias. You can do this by going to the OneDrive settings and checking the notification preferences.
    3. Verify Email Alias: Make sure that the old email address is not still associated with any notification settings or subscriptions that might override your new alias.

If you still receive notifications at the old email after waiting and checking settings, you may need to contact Microsoft support for further assistance.
