I purchased Office 2024 today and I have the product key but I don't have the software. Can you help me?

Hi! I just want to check if this is still the correct link as I am trying to install Office 2024 with a single licence product key and I've followed your links above, but after I put in the product key and click through to the download, I get the following error message after selecting 64 bit:

Service Unavailable

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties.

Please try again later.

Then, when I try again later, I get the same issue.

The link for the setup page should be correct. If this is a new purchase, you typically go to https://setup.office.com , sign in with a Microsoft account, and when the process is completed you use your account to complete installation via https://account.microsoft.com/services .

If you already redeemed the product and you are trying to (re-)install Office, start with your account at https://account.microsoft.com/services . You can't reuse the product key.

Note that the steps above apply to Office Home 2024 and to Office Home & Business 2024.

Other versions, such as Office Professional 2024, can't be activated using a consumer (home use) account, because they are volume licenses, intended for organizations such as businesses. You should request your money back from the seller if you got the wrong product.

When you buy Office 2024 (non‑subscription), it does not give you a separate installer immediately. Instead, you must redeem the product key first. Redeeming the key links Office 2024 to your Microsoft account, and only then does the download button appear.

Step 1: Redeem your Office 2024 product key (required)

Open a browser and go to https://microsoft365.com/setup
Sign in with your Microsoft account
- Use the same account you want Office tied to permanently
- Enter your 25‑character product key
Complete the prompts until you see confirmation that Office is added to your account

Important

This step is required only once
After redemption, you will never need the key again

Step 2: Download Office 2024

After the key is redeemed:

Go to https://m365.cloud.microsoft/apps
Sign in with the same Microsoft account you used above
Select Install apps
Choose Install to download Office 2024

Step 3: Install and activate

Run the downloaded installer
Accept the license when prompted
Open Word or Excel after installation
Office activates automatically using your account

Visit the Microsoft Services & Subscriptions page: Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the Microsoft account you used to purchase Office 2024.
Locate Office 2024: Under the "Services & subscriptions" section, find Office 2024 listed there. If you don't see it, you may have redeemed the key under a different account, so check any other Microsoft accounts you own.
Download the installer: Next to Office 2024, click on "Install" to download the installer for the one-time purchase version tied to your license.
Run the setup file: Open the downloaded file (usually named Setup.exe) and follow the prompts to install Office 2024.
