I can't recover my password because phone sms authentication never functions

For the last 4 days i've been trying to recover my Microsoft account because i lost my password but everytime i try to request a reset while using my Email as the "username" and reach double authentication, i get the code to my email just fine but when i try to get the other through SMS i enter the last 4 digits of my phone number but every time it says "this authentication method doesn't function currently, please try another method" but there is no other method
And the most annoying part is if i use my Phone number as the "username" and try to reset my password, the sms method works but somehow my phone number is a seperate account despite the fact it's connected to the "email account"

I really need help and human help specifically not some self help, a microsoft support email or anything
