Hi, I am trying to setup up an artifact signing account, however the identity validation of my organization is stuck "in progress" since 2 weeks.

Any idea?

If your organization's identity validation is stuck in "In Progress" for two weeks, it may indicate that additional information or documents are required to complete the process. Here are a few steps you can take:

    1. Check Email Notifications: Ensure that you are monitoring the primary email address associated with the identity validation request. Sometimes, emails are sent requesting further documentation or action, and these emails can be missed.
    2. Status Updates: The status may change to "Action Required" if more documents are needed. If you see this status, follow the instructions provided in the email or the Azure portal to complete the validation process.
    3. Role Assignment: Make sure that you have the appropriate role assigned, specifically the Artifact Signing Identity Verifier role, as this is necessary to manage identity validations. If the role is not assigned, you may not be able to see the necessary options to proceed.
    4. Contact Support: If the status remains unchanged and you have not received any communication, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for assistance. They can provide insights into the status of your request and any actions you may need to take.

Identity validation can only be completed in the Azure portal, and it cannot be done via the Azure CLI. Keep this in mind when trying to resolve the issue.
