When I tried to verify academic status, it showed "Enter a valid email address" under pre-filled email box.

Having the exact same issue. Pre-filled, uneditable email field (with my correct email) but for some reason saying that my email is not valid.

Same problem here. I'm signed into my uni email address, and my uni is listed under my organizations, but the signup says the uni email address isn't valid. If I don't open the 'Azure for Students' signup link at https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free/students in incognito mode, it also sends me into an infinite redirect loop.
