I have changed my iPhone and now my Authenticator is asking me to log in to my accounts but when I do so it provides a code in the app that I can’t enter anywhere. Is there any way to reset the Authenticator? I have tried resetting but this has not had any effect.

If you have changed your iPhone and are having trouble with the Microsoft Authenticator app, here are some steps you can take to reset or regain access:

    1. Alternative Sign-in Method: If you have another method of signing in (like SMS or email), try using that to log into your account instead of the Authenticator app.
    2. Reset Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): If you are the sole administrator of your account, you may need to contact Microsoft support to reset your MFA settings. This can often be done by calling their customer service and explaining your situation.
    3. Re-register the Authenticator: If you have access to your account through a web browser, you can go to the account security settings and revoke the current MFA settings. This will prompt you to set up the Authenticator app again, allowing you to scan a new QR code.
    4. Create a Temporary Account: If you are unable to reach support, consider creating a new trial tenant to submit a support ticket. This allows you to access the admin console and request assistance from the Data Protection team regarding your original account.

These steps should help you regain access to your accounts through the Authenticator app.
