How do I add my phone number to my sign in details?

I get an error message when I try to edit my details to add my phone number.

Have you tried using an incognito/private browsing mode to see if you can successfully add your phone number to your Microsoft account?

  1. First, connect your device to a different Wi-Fi network, such as a mobile hotspot.
