Welcome Aaqib Alvi,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum. I’m sorry to hear you’re running into a situation where the camera is already in use, stopping you from getting into the advanced settings.
You can try the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
Option 1: Basic troubleshoot steps
- Close all apps using the camera (e.g., Teams, Zoom) via Task Manager. Then open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Camera
- Restart your PC to clear any stuck camera sessions, as this reset previews without disabling hardware access
Option 2: Access Advanced Options
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Cameras
- Choose the connected camera
- The camera preview shouldn't be working. Scroll down to (Advanced camera options) and click Edit.
- Toggle (Turn on basic camera) then Apply
Option 3: Update driver
- Open Device Manager> expand Cameras > right-click your camera > Update driver > Search automatically for drivers
- If no update found, visit official website > Support > enter your exact TUF model > Drivers & Tools > Windows 11 > download latest Camera driver > run installer
- Restart PC after install, then check Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Cameras
Note: If none of the earlier steps work, you may want to temporarily disable the camera and reinstall it afterward to check if the problem gets fixed.
I really hope that the information I gave above was helpful to you. Please feel free to reply below and let me know if you have further concern on this matter.
