I keep getting notifications to approve a sign in on microsoft authenticator

I keep getting notifications to approve a sign in on microsoft authenticator on my iphone 16,
I keep selecting deny. I have changed my password. Apparently whoever is doing this is in Canada, so not local to me in the UK.
Its really annoying and a touch worrying.
Is there anyway to stop this?

I have changed password, removed Authenticator and added it again. I have tried everything Microsoft suggests…
