How to remove "send sign-in notification"?

I am getting requests to accept a sign-in via my MS authenticator app every few hours. It's not coming from me. I have removed my account password and now have the following for authentication: passkey, sign-in notification (ms authenticator which asks for number matching), email a code, text a code, enter a code from an authentication app.

I want to remove the "send sign-in notification" so I stop getting those requests. When I try to remove it, I get a message saying "We could not remove the Microsoft Authenticator app at this time."
