If your microphone is not being detected after using a splitter, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check Connections: Ensure that the splitter is properly connected to both the microphone and the audio input jack on your PC. Sometimes, a loose connection can cause detection issues.
    2. Device Manager: Open Device Manager on your PC and check if the microphone is listed under "Audio inputs and outputs". If it’s not listed, it may not be recognized by the system.
    3. Update Drivers: Make sure your audio drivers are up to date. You can do this by visiting your device manufacturer's website and downloading the latest drivers for your model.
    4. Troubleshoot Audio: Run the audio troubleshooter by going to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters. This can help identify and fix issues automatically.
    5. Check for Hidden Devices: In the Sound settings, check if the microphone is hidden. Sometimes, devices can be hidden from the list, and you may need to show disabled devices to see it.
    6. Test with Another Device: If possible, test the microphone with another device to ensure that the microphone itself is functioning properly.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, there may be a hardware problem with the microphone or the splitter.
