I logged in on microsoft authenticator using a new phone, and suddenly all my codes are gone?

Hello! I have just factory reset both my phone and PC, however, upon downloading microsoft authenticator back, my codes for both discord and github are gone, is there any way i can get them back? I cant login on those platforms anymore due to my number being years outdated

Thecodes are gone because Authenticator data is stored locally unless cloud backup was enabled. After a factory reset, codes can only be restored by using Restore from backup (iOS: iCloud / Android: Microsoft account). If no backup existed, it is not recoverable unfortunately.
For these two specific accounts you have mentioned, you must recover access per service (Discord/GitHub) using their account‑recovery flows, then re‑enable 2FA and scan a new QR code into Microsoft Authenticator.
