I’m using a Surface Laptop 7 with a Surface Thunderbolt Dock, and I’m having trouble getting a third external monitor to work. Two monitors are connected directly to the dock, and the third is connected directly to the laptop using a USB-C–to-HDMI adapter.

The issue is that only two external displays will work at a time. If I unplug one cable, another monitor will activate, but I can’t get all three to work simultaneously.

    I'm having the same issues. My three monitors work fine when using Suface Laptop 5 on the same docking station and monitors. But I can't get my Suface Laptop 7 to display more than 2 monitors
