How to remove greyed out work account from personal authenticator without removing it from work authenticator

I have two Microsoft Authenticators on my Android phone, one for personal and the other for work. Initially, the phone was not segmented, so my work account was in what was then my only Authenticator, but is now my personal one.
I "removed" my work account from what is now my personal authenticator, but it still shows as grayed out. I do not want to remove that account from my phone entirely, as has been recommended for greyed out accounts, since I want to retain the work authenticator.

So, how do I remove the greyed out work account from only my personal authenticator?
