cannot access outlook on iPhone

hello,

ws trying to set up my email on my MacBook and somehow i went down a terrible path of frustration that lead me to delete my email off my iPhone to try and log back in. when doing so i am told to use an authenticator pp on my iOS which i do not have. when trying to download the authenticator and match up the codes i am told it did not match. not sure why my personal email is harder to get into than for knox, but hey i have all the time in the world to burn 4 hours trying.
