Locked out of Microsoft account due to Authenticator MFA loop — no way to contact support or reset MFA

I am completely locked out of my Microsoft account due to a Microsoft Authenticator multi-factor authentication (MFA) loop.

Every time I attempt to sign in, I am prompted to verify my identity using the Microsoft Authenticator app. However, the app does not present any approval request or verification code. Instead, it directs me back into the same loop asking for a code from the Authenticator app, which is impossible because no code or prompt is shown.

I have attempted all available recovery options, including password reset, but resetting the password does not remove or bypass MFA and immediately returns me to the same Authenticator loop. I have also exhausted all alternative verification methods — there are no SMS, email, or backup options available on the account.

The most frustrating part is that I am unable to contact a Microsoft support representative for help. All support paths route me back to automated self-help articles or password reset flows that do not resolve the issue. I cannot access chat or phone support because I cannot sign in, and there is no clear escalation path for MFA lockouts.

I am currently posting this question using an alternative Microsoft account because I cannot submit this request from either of the two accounts that are locked out.

At this point, I am unable to access my email or any Microsoft services tied to the affected accounts. I need assistance from Microsoft to reset or remove MFA on the affected accounts so that I can re-register Microsoft Authenticator.

This appears to be a known issue, as many users have reported identical Authenticator MFA loops, but there does not seem to be a documented resolution or direct support channel.

Any guidance on how to reach a Microsoft representative or have MFA reset server-side would be greatly appreciated.
