We have recently purchased and installed two Dell cluster servers. The installation was completed successfully. However, after a few days of usage, users began reporting performance issues. Specifically:
The system intermittently becomes unresponsive, getting stuck for several minutes or sometimes only a few seconds before releasing again.
When accessing the servers via Remote Desktop (RDP), printer services, the spooler, and the services.msc console fail to open.
Impact: These issues are affecting user productivity and system reliability. Immediate investigation and resolution are requested.
Request: Kindly analyze the root cause of the performance degradation and RDP service failures, and provide corrective measures at the earliest.

Thank you for sharing the detailed description of the issues you are experiencing. Based on the symptoms, the intermittent unresponsiveness and RDP service failures often point to resource contention or driver/service conflicts within the cluster environment. I recommend first reviewing the Windows Event Logs for critical or repeated warnings, as these can highlight underlying causes such as spooler service crashes or network adapter driver instability. Additionally, please ensure that the latest Dell firmware and Windows Server cumulative updates are applied, as outdated components can contribute to degraded performance. It may also help to temporarily disable non-essential services to isolate whether the spooler or other background processes are causing bottlenecks. If the issue persists, enabling Performance Monitor (PerfMon) counters for CPU, memory, and disk I/O will provide deeper insight into the root cause.
