How to justify image in Sway

I am having issues inserting an image into Sway. I need it to left justify and it continues to move it to the center. I insert as a stack and then group automatically.

Thank you for reaching out regarding your experience with image alignment in Sway. I understand how important it is to have your content displayed exactly as you envision.

Currently, Sway is designed to keep layouts simple and responsive across different devices, which means images are typically centered by default. While there isn’t a direct option to left-justify images, here are a few workarounds you can try:

Click the image whose focus (alignment) you want to adjust.
Then choose Focus Points, either from Storyline or the Design canvas.
In the Focus Points pane, you can click parts of the image you consider most important, to make sure those parts are always shown. You can add multiple focus points.

If you want the full image displayed without cropping, there is a checkbox “The entire image is important.” Checking that will tell Sway not to crop the image.

Making use of Focus Points helps ensure that important parts of your image stay visible even when Sway applies automatic cropping, which can sometimes cause unwanted centering or cutoff depending on layout or device.
