My email is not working. I get a message Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened. Errors have been detected in the file C:\Users\Renee HP All-in-On\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook******@pacbell.net - New.ost. All other programs in the suite (like Word, Excel) are working just fine.

Which version of Outlook are you trying to reinstall? The new Outlook for Windows can definitely be reinstalled without reinstalling Office.

Also, why do you want to reinstall Outlook (regardless of version)? Which symptoms do you see? For example, are there specific error messages?

Hello,

Unfortunately that's not possible if you have Microsoft 365. It comes as a package. You would have to uninstall the entire Microsoft 365, and reinstall using the instruction below:

Please go to https://www.office.com

Sign into the Microsoft account you used for the subscription. Click on Apps on the left.

Then on the upper right, click on "Install apps". This will now download the installer file. Once downloaded, click on the file to install. It will install the Desktop version of the apps for you then.
