I keep getting the error “You’ve tried to sign in with an incorrect account or password” despite changing my password and proving my identity multiple times, how can I unlock my account and be allowed to login again?

I am facing the same issue, it began yesterday. My laptop pin did not work and said there was a "system error" with my pin and I had to reset it right then and there. Then I had the blue windows security screen come up saying I had been signed out of my microsoft account and I had to log back in. Every log in attempt is met with "Incorrect account or password" despite the password definitely being correct and the account being the same one I have been logged into this whole time. I hope it is just a glitch that gets reversed soon because I am unable to open a lot of applications now.
